Singaporean singer-songwriter and producer ALICIA DC is officially stepping into a bold new era with the release of her debut full-length album, WANNA KISS, arriving on digital streaming platforms on May 29, 2026.
Blending energetic dance-pop production with emotionally candid songwriting, the eight-track project marks a significant milestone in ALICIA DC’s evolving artistry. Known for seamlessly moving across genres — from acoustic ballads to trap-pop and alternative sounds — the Singapore-based artist now fully embraces a vibrant pop direction while retaining the introspective honesty that has defined her music from the beginning.
Following her 2022 debut EP Maybe and singles such as “Circles” released in 2024, WANNA KISS showcases a more colorful and playful sonic identity inspired by cult favorite film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
The album imagines ALICIA DC as a comic book-inspired protagonist navigating between reality and an exaggerated party universe, brought to life through neon aesthetics, pixel-inspired visuals, and high-energy production.
Despite its upbeat soundscape, the album dives into deeply relatable themes including relationships, insecurities, overstimulation, introversion, and even everyday thoughts like deciding what to eat for lunch. Rather than using dance music purely as escapism, ALICIA DC uses the genre to amplify her internal world and personal reflections.

Ahead of the album release, ALICIA DC continued to build momentum through performances at major regional events including Singapore Arts Week 2025, Light to Night Festival 2025, and AXEAN Festival 2025 in Bali, where she performed alongside emerging Southeast Asian artists.
Beyond her solo work, ALICIA DC has also collaborated with artists including Gabba, CERATONE, and June Pan.
WANNA KISS will be available on all major streaming platforms starting May 29, 2026.
