Philippine chamber rock duo Aviators are making waves once again with the release of their latest single, “Come & Go,” out now via Offshore Music.

Originally formed in Iloilo by longtime friends John Roxas and Arvy Zafra, Aviators have steadily built a reputation for crafting cinematic retro-pop infused with lush orchestral textures and post-punk edge. Their evolving sound was first showcased in their 2025 single “Hollow,” and now continues with a more intense, adrenaline-fueled direction in “Come & Go.”

Designed to feel fast, restless, and constantly moving, the track channels the thrill of a cinematic chase sequence. According to vocalist and guitarist John Roxas, the band intentionally wanted the song to evoke the feeling of a classic spy-thriller soundtrack.

“I wanted a song that had an energetic, frenetic pace, something you would hear as a soundtrack to a James Bond-esque movie,” Roxas shared. “The lyrics are centered around things that come and go, and what better way to bring that to light than with a song that comes at you, then goes on forward.”

Interestingly, the song’s origins date back nearly a decade. Roxas revealed that “Come & Go” began as an experimental orchestral project around 2016, making the release a culmination of years of sonic exploration and refinement.

Adding to the experience, a lyric video created by Danille Yzjl Eligue, Renzky Avelino, and Jyzle Xylex Monzon is also set to premiere on the official YouTube channel of Offshore Music PH.

The track serves as the latest chapter in Aviators’ ongoing cinematic and orchestral era, with the duo teasing a final installment expected to arrive this July.

About Aviators

Drawing inspiration from retro pop melodies and the emotional grit of post-punk revival, Aviators combine chamber pop strings, layered harmonies, pounding drums, and heavy guitars into a distinct sonic identity. Their influences include artists such as Mini Mansions, Julian Casablancas, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, David Bowie, and Pulp.

The duo first gained attention with the release of “I Got U” in 2020, followed by their debut album Analogies On Love in 2022. Both releases earned Awit Awards nominations, while appearances on Rappler Live Jam further cemented their growing presence in the local music scene.
