As more Filipinos seek ways to build healthier habits into their daily routines, Herbalife has launched its “Better Every Day” campaign in the Philippines—using the rising popularity of pickleball to show how small, consistent choices can lead to lasting wellness.
A global health and wellness company, community, and platform, Herbalife has long supported the local running scene as a way to connect with Filipinos through an accessible and inclusive activity. This year, the brand is expanding its approach by embracing pickleball, one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, known for its ease of play and strong sense of community.
To bring this vision to life, Herbalife introduced two of the country’s top pickleball athletes—Leander Lazaro and Sarah Jane Lim—as campaign ambassadors.
The campaign officially launched at Tela Park in Las Piñas, where Herbalife distributors and consumers gathered for an open-play event that combined pickleball matches with wellness-focused activities.
Building Healthier Habits, One Day at a Time
The “Better Every Day” campaign will roll out through a mix of community-led initiatives and digital programs designed to help Filipinos adopt sustainable wellness practices. These include nutrition clubs, pop-up wellness sessions, and run clubs, as well as larger events such as fun runs, pickleball clinics, and leagues.
The initiative comes at a time when more Filipinos are taking a proactive approach to their health. According to the 2025 Herbalife Asia Pacific Responsible Supplementation Survey, 97% of Filipinos consider preventive healthcare important—reflecting a shift toward more mindful, long-term wellness habits.
“Pickleball offers an easy entry point—it’s social, accessible, and enjoyable,” said Allan Domingo, General Manager of Herbalife Philippines. “We are excited to welcome Leander Lazaro and Sarah Jane Lim to the Herbalife family. They embody discipline, resilience, and community, both on and off the court, and serve as an inspiration to Filipinos starting or returning to an active lifestyle.”
A key feature of the campaign is a 21-day wellness program focused on holistic health, covering physical activity, proper nutrition, as well as mental and social well-being. The program is designed to help participants build practical habits they can sustain long after the program ends.
“At its core, the campaign is about making small, consistent choices that lead to meaningful change over time,” Domingo added.
Athletes Champion Everyday Wellness
Lazaro, widely recognized as one of the country’s top pickleball players, has competed internationally and recently secured gold at Major League Pickleball (MLP). Lim, the Philippines’ top-ranked female pickleball player, has also made her mark across regional competitions, representing a growing wave of Filipina athletes in the sport. Both compete in major leagues such as PPA Asia, APP Asia, and MLP Australia.
“For me, staying active is something you build over time,” Lazaro shared. “It’s not just about performing well in matches—it’s also about taking care of your body every day, including how you fuel and recover.”
Lim echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the importance of consistency. “It’s about showing up, listening to your body, and making choices that help you stay active in the long run,” she said. “Having the right support, including proper nutrition, really makes a difference.”
Through “Better Every Day,” Herbalife aims to make wellness more accessible, encouraging Filipinos to stay active, connect with others, and build healthier habits they can sustain for the long term.
