AirAsia MOVE (MOVE) has been named “Digital Innovator of the Year” at the Aviation Festival Asia Awards 2026, an accolade that recognizes the platform’s significant contribution to transforming the digital travel booking experience in the region. The award was presented during the ceremony on Wednesday.

Beyond being a travel platform offering access to over 700 global carriers and more than one million hotels, MOVE continues to evolve through technology-driven enhancements. These include its AI-powered AskBo chatbot, an improved user interface, and new offerings such as MOVETIX, its global live-events ticketing platform, as well as the Easy Cancel feature designed to provide greater flexibility for users.

Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia MOVE, said that being recognized alongside industry leaders such as Qatar Airways and Changi Airport Group reinforces the platform’s position at the forefront of travel innovation. She added that with over 15 million monthly users, the recognition serves as motivation to further deliver affordable travel and enable customers to explore more destinations for less. She also credited the award to the efforts of the company’s team, partners, customers, and supporters.

Looking ahead, MOVE’s next phase will focus on enhancing social discovery, allowing users to find travel inspiration through content and seamlessly book their journeys within the platform. The company remains committed to building a travel ecosystem that keeps users curious, connected, and inspired.
