One of the world’s most celebrated choral ensembles is returning to the Philippines for the first time in nearly a decade. The Vienna Boys’ Choir performs live in Manila on April 26 and 27 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, presented by Ovation Productions in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Philippines and arranged through the Austrian Embassy in Manila.

The concerts mark a significant milestone: 2026 is the choir’s 100th year of international touring. What began in 1926 with a first tour to Germany and Switzerland has since grown into over 1,000 tours across 100 countries and roughly 29,000 concerts. Their last visit to the Philippines was in 2016; their first was in 1967.

The Vienna Boys’ Choir currently comprises 97 active choristers divided into four touring ensembles — the Brucknerchor, Haydnchor, Mozartchor, and Schubertchor — each led by its own choirmaster. Together they perform up to 300 concerts annually to nearly half a million attendees. The Manila performances will feature the Brucknerchor under Choirmaster Manolo Cagnin, who has led the ensemble on tours worldwide since 2008 and has prepared the choir for performances with orchestras including the Vienna Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Blast TV is the official media partner for the concerts.

Tickets are priced at ₱1,500, ₱3,500, ₱4,500, ₱6,500, ₱7,500, and ₱8,500, inclusive of ticketing fees, available at smtickets.com. For updates, visit ovation.ph.
