Palawan Group of Companies has launched “There Na,” a new campaign celebrating overseas Filipino workers and promoting its international remittance services through Palawan Express Pera Padala and PalawanPay.
At the center of the campaign is Marian Rivera, best known to Filipino audiences as Darna. The casting is deliberate — her association with timely rescue and quiet strength mirrors the campaign’s core message: that when a loved one abroad sends money home, it arrives quickly and without worry. In the commercial, Rivera appears in Cavite receiving a remittance from her grandfather in Spain, alongside stories of a construction worker in Dubai sending his son’s school allowance, a seafarer in Alaska supporting her wife in the Visayas, and OFWs in Hong Kong doing the same.
“I always stepped in to help those in need on screen, and this campaign brings that same energy to real life,” Rivera said.
Palawan Group President and CEO Karlo M. Castro framed the campaign as a tribute. “Every peso they send carries their love, hope, and dreams, and we want to make sure it reaches home safely, quickly, and with peace of mind.”
The service runs through more than 45 international remittance partners, with funds claimable at over 3,500 Palawan Pawnshop branches nationwide or via the PalawanPay app.
