HONOR walked away from MWC 2026 with more than 70 media awards, riding a wave of attention for its expanding AI device lineup — and a phone that moves.
The company’s most talked-about debut was Robot Phone, a device that blends embodied AI with mechanical motion and high-end imaging. Reuters and CNBC covered it as a signal of where AI hardware is heading, while Engadget called it “adorable” and GadgetMatch described it as a glimpse of mobile tech that reacts “more like a living companion than a static tool.” Bloomberg said the launch “sets the tone for the mobile industry’s annual gathering.”
The Magic V6 foldable also drew strong reviews. GSMArena called it “a milestone for foldables,” citing its record-breaking battery size and flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip — the first in a foldable. TechRadar said it “raises the bar again” on thinness and durability, with IP69 water and dust resistance rounding out the package.
On the battery front, HONOR picked up the GLOMO “Best Disruptive Device Innovation” award for its silicon-carbon battery technology, which achieves an industry-first 25% silicon content. The company also previewed its next-generation silicon-carbon Blade Battery, pushing silicon content to 32% and energy density to 985 Wh/L.
Rounding out the ecosystem story, the MagicPad 4 tablet earned a 9/10 from TechAdvisor and was called “the most impressive-looking tablet in the world” by TechRadar. The MagicBook Pro 14 laptop was praised by the same outlet as a device that “takes a leap forward in almost every way.”
