1Life, Inc., a Filipino healthcare tech company, has reached a major milestone: serving one million patients over two years through its field hospital services and nationwide tech-enabled primary care model. The achievement underscores the company’s mission to improve health outcomes and protect Filipinos from preventable illnesses through early detection and timely intervention.

By bringing healthcare directly to communities, 1Life has provided fast, connected services across more than 1,261 municipalities and 80 provinces, proving that advanced diagnostics and AI-supported care can function reliably even in remote or low-resource settings. Its integrated system combines diagnostics, consultations, and medicines in a single visit, reducing a traditional four-day primary care journey to about one hour. This approach has been especially transformative for rural and geographically isolated areas.

Much of the patient count comes from community medical runs offering essential diagnostics such as CBC, X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, urinalysis, and blood chemistry, followed by physician consultations and prescribed medicines. Patients also visit 1Life Primary Care Facilities, partner clinics using the 1Life Digital Community Healthcare System, and school or workplace programs supported by local government units and national partners. In 2024 alone, 1Life served over 500,000 Filipinos, with daily deployments managed by AI tools that optimize patient flow without compromising quality.

At the heart of these operations is the 1Life Digital Community Healthcare System, connecting clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and laboratories, complemented by DocMate AI and the newly launched 1Life Health App, which provides personal access to medical records, medicine reminders, and health education. This ecosystem enables communities to shift from reactive, hospital-centric care to proactive early detection.

“Reaching one million patients shows that accessible healthcare changes lives when delivered with consistency, compassion, and the right technology,” said Nino Namoco, President of 1Life, Inc.. “This milestone is only the beginning.”

1Life’s work aligns with the Philippines’ push for universal health coverage, demonstrating that technology-supported primary care can scale effectively while building trust in underserved communities.
