Iconic Filipino pop band Side A is set for a special homecoming concert, Now & Then, reuniting the founding and current members for two unforgettable nights at the Metropolitan Theater (MET). Produced by Minsan Studio, the event will feature lush orchestral arrangements by acclaimed musical director Ria Villena-Osorio, elevating Side A’s timeless hits with a fresh, cinematic sound.

Described as a “big family reunion,” the concert celebrates the band’s enduring spirit built on music, brotherhood, and artistry. “Bringing both the OGs and current members together on one stage shows how the Side A story has grown through the years but kept the same heart,” shares the band. The idea for the concert was sparked when founding member Joey Benin attended his daughter’s performance at the MET. Inspired by the theater’s production, Benin and Minsan Studio’s Jason Conanan proposed a passion project, and the band eagerly embraced the concept.
Now & Then unites two generations of Side A musicians. Side A Now features Naldy Gonzalez on keyboards and musical direction, Ernie Severino on drums, Leevon Cailao on lead guitar and vocals, Ned Esguerra on bass, and Yubs Esperat on lead vocals and acoustic guitar. Side A Then brings back founding members Rodel Gonzalez, Pido Lalimarmo, and Joey Benin, reconnecting past and present through a shared love of music.
Fans can expect a one-of-a-kind experience as Side A’s rich catalog is reimagined with a 30-piece orchestra, adding depth and emotion while keeping the songs familiar. “We hope people leave with full hearts, good memories, and fresh hope,” the band shares.
