PLDT Inc. and its wireless subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have been recognized by the Safety Organization of the Philippines (SOPI) for outstanding achievements in workplace safety and employee well-being. The awards were presented during SOPI’s National Industrial Safety Conference and Annual Assembly, themed “Achieving Excellence on OSH Resiliency and Sustainability.”
The PLDT Group received the Presidential Award for Safety Man Hours, along with Safety Milestone Awards and Outstanding OSH Practitioner Awards, celebrating the achievement of 20 million safe man hours. The accolades reflect the group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen a proactive safety culture across offices, technical sites, and contact centers nationwide.
