CHANEL has announced the appointment of Jung Kook, global pop sensation and BTS member, as the new Global Ambassador for CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty. Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Global Creative Resources for Fragrances & Beauty, shared, “I have long admired his incredible talent, his music career, and his distinctive commitment to self-expression. He perfectly embodies the essence of our House and inspires the new generation with his passion and creativity. I am genuinely excited about this upcoming collaboration.”
A true icon of the global music scene, Jung Kook is celebrated for his energy, creativity, and boundary-pushing artistry. His solo tracks, including Euphoria, My Time, and Still With You, alongside collaborations with international artists such as Lauv and Charlie Puth, showcase his versatility. He has also contributed to multiple BTS hits, including the Japanese single Your Eyes Tell, Stay from BE, and Run BTS from Proof. Notably, he performed Dreamers, the official soundtrack of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, at the Opening Ceremony.
In 2023, Jung Kook released his first solo single, Seven (feat. Latto), which went platinum in November and topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart.
