Manulife Financial Asia Limited has been recognized as a Top Sustainability Advocate in Asia at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2025, marking the company’s first win at the regional level. Presented by the ACES Council, the award honors organizations demonstrating outstanding commitment to sustainability, ethical leadership, and social impact.

Accepting the award on behalf of Manulife Asia was Sonali Verma, Chief Marketing Officer, Manulife Philippines, joined by Nadine Braza, Brand Activation and Community Investment Specialist, and Joy Ann Concepcion, Head of Brand, Content, and Digital.

Now in its 12th edition, the ACES Awards celebrate Asia’s leading organizations for excellence in leadership, sustainability, and corporate growth. Winners are selected through the ACES LEAD™ Framework, which evaluates long-term strategy, ESG performance, ethical governance, and social impact.

Manulife’s sustainability journey highlights its leadership as the world’s largest manager of natural capital, overseeing over CAD$22 billion in timberland and agriculture assets. The company has achieved a 27% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, planted more than 1.4 billion trees, and implemented community programs like Peso Smart and MLK Scholars to empower youth across Asia and North America. Inclusive workplace initiatives support over 39,000 employees and 109,000 agents, reinforcing its social and environmental commitments.

The Manulife Longevity Institute, recently launched, further demonstrates the company’s mission to help people live longer, healthier, and more financially secure lives by 2030—across Asia and the globe.
