M-Commerce, one of the country’s fastest-growing digital commerce and live selling platforms, has unveiled MPower, a CSR initiative aimed at uplifting Filipino women through skills development, digital empowerment, and income-generating opportunities. Developed in partnership with Vice Cosmetics, MPower marks M-Commerce’s first major project centered on women empowerment, aligning with its long-term vision for inclusive community growth.
With women making up 60% of its workforce, M-Commerce sees MPower as a natural extension of its values. “E-commerce should be inclusive. If you’re a mom at home, or someone seeking flexible work, you deserve opportunities that let you earn while caring for your family,” the company shares.
MPower equips participants with training in affiliate marketing, content creation, and professional live hosting—skills directly linked to M-Commerce’s core expertise. Trainers draw from real-world experience managing 35 brands and multiple departments, ensuring practical guidance for aspiring affiliates, creators, and live hosts. The program simplifies the path into the digital marketplace, building confidence and professional skillsets.
The first batch of MPower participants is just the beginning. M-Commerce is planning additional training with several LGUs nationwide, targeting women, young parents, students, and eventually other community groups. “This is just the start,” says GB Samson, Co-Founder/External Business Development Director. “We’re excited to help more people—women and men—start their journey in content creation and affiliate marketing.”
The long-term goal is ambitious: to develop Filipino creators and hosts who can compete with the best in Asia. Inspired by China’s live commerce boom, M-Commerce envisions incubator programs, nationwide auditions, and reality-style creator houses in partnership with TikTok, leveraging its Startalk and Sync Talent initiatives.
For M-Commerce, MPower isn’t just CSR—it’s an investment in people. “Always explore, keep learning. Small steps lead to big success,” the company says, giving hundreds of Filipino women a strong start toward transforming their digital future.
