Multi-awarded Filipino pop-rock band The Itchyworms are set to return to the Middle East with their celebrated “Akin Ka Na Lang” tour this January 2026. After more than a decade, the Love Team act will perform their greatest hits and fan favorites at the Pakistan Auditorium in Dubai on January 17 and New Bar, Arkadia in Abu Dhabi on January 18.
The two-city tour aims to reconnect the band with overseas Filipino audiences while celebrating a journey that began in the region years ago. “Our first-ever out-of-country tour was in Dubai and Abu Dhabi back in 2007,” the band shared. “We’ve returned a few times, but our last UAE show was in 2014. We are so excited to perform for our kababayan out there!”
Returning to the Middle East is both nostalgic and momentous for the band. Over the years, The Itchyworms have grown musically, performed on international stages, and expanded their catalog, all while staying true to the melodic pop-rock sound fans know and love. “When we first went there, we were in our 20s. Now, we are more mature musically, as individuals and as a band. This return feels very special,” they added.
Fans can expect a lively, interactive show featuring chart-toppers, deep cuts, crowd favorites, and a few surprises. Known for their high-energy performances, the band often plays extended sets of up to three hours, bringing overseas audiences “home,” if only for a few hours.
Beyond the music, the band is eager to reconnect with local culture and explore Dubai’s iconic sights, including the Burj Khalifa.
