Bonifacio High Street officially opened the 2025 holiday season, transforming the heart of BGC into a festive wonderland of joy, music, and togetherness. In partnership with the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI), this year’s celebrations featured the BGC Grand Christmas Show 2025, themed “The Real Gifts Around the Christmas Tree.”

The evening began with the ceremonial lighting of the city’s 40-foot Christmas tree along 5th Avenue, heralding the start of A Christmas Dreamland. The stage came alive with a spectacular musical performance curated by Maria Isabel Garcia and musically directed by Rony Fortich, featuring the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ateneo Chamber Singers, and performers Kakki Teodoro and Vic Robinson. Graceful choreography by Edd Ricafranca and the Stage Group dancers, alongside stirring orchestral interludes, created a magical experience for attendees.

Throughout the show, Teodoro and Robinson invited the audience to reflect on the true gifts of Christmas. By the finale, they shared their five “Real Gifts”: good cheer for everyone, love and support from family and friends, grateful hearts, peace, and love for all. Towering, interactive puppets by Puppet Theater Manila allowed the crowd to become part of the celebration, turning the street into a living, shared holiday spectacle.
Reflecting on the season, FBDC COO Enrique Manuel Jr. said, “Christmas reminds us to pause and reflect on what truly matters: family, kindness, giving back, and gratitude.”
