Hitachi Vantara, the data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced Hitachi iQ Studio, the latest addition to its Hitachi iQ portfolio of AI solutions. Designed to help enterprises build, deploy, and manage AI agents and applications at scale, Hitachi iQ Studio serves as a no-code and low-code integration hub with a library of industrial AI templates—enabling rapid prototyping and deployment across diverse data environments.

As organizations continue to invest in AI, many face barriers in operationalizing their solutions. Hitachi iQ Studio addresses these challenges by providing a fully governed, on-premises, and sovereign AI environment that maintains data control and compliance—ideal for regulated industries.

Built on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, Hitachi iQ Studio integrates retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to deliver AI-ready data and automate development. A built-in model management system allows enterprises to deploy and serve large language and machine learning models locally.

“With Hitachi iQ Studio, we are making AI more user-friendly and manageable by combining accessible tools with enterprise-grade governance,” said Jason Hardy, Chief Technology Officer for AI at Hitachi Vantara.

The solution democratizes AI by empowering nontechnical users through an intuitive interface while enabling industrial use cases such as predictive maintenance, operator-skill evaluation, and fleet optimization.

Hitachi iQ infrastructure has also achieved NVIDIA Enterprise Storage Certification and NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) status, confirming its performance and reliability for large-scale AI workloads.

Hitachi Vantara will showcase Hitachi iQ Studio at Supercomputing 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri, from November 16–21.
