Manila, Philippines — October 2025a mano, Manila’s acclaimed destination for authentic Italian dining, is joining forces with Melbourne’s award-winning 48H Pizza e Gnocchi Bar for a two-day celebration of craftsmanship, tradition, and the art of Italian cooking.

Both restaurants are recognized by 50 Top Pizza, the global guide to the world’s best pizzerias. For 2025, a mano ranks 49th worldwide and 7th in Asia-Pacific, while 48H holds the 93rd global and 12th regional spots. Since 2021, 48H has been named Australia’s #1 pizzeria, praised for its naturally leavened dough fermented for at least 48 hours—a true expression of slow food and Italian authenticity.

From October 23 to 24, 2025, Chef Michele Circhirillo, founder of 48H, will cook alongside the a mano team at Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City, offering an exclusive tasting menu of signature pizzas and gnocchi. Guests can look forward to standout creations such as the Di Parma, crowned with Prosciutto di Parma and Buffalo Mozzarella and awarded #1 Pizza in Australia (Pizza World Championships 2019), the 48H Australia’s Best Seafood Pizza (2017) with Smoked Salmon and Nomad Caviar, the 48H Pantelleria with yellow tomato and pine nuts, and the Trevigiana, combining Gorgonzola, chicory, and walnuts.
