Khalid, a multi-platinum-selling global superstar, has released his new album, “After the Sun Goes Down,” which features 17 songs. The album explores themes of love, self-discovery, openness, and a renewed sense of freedom. Executively produced by ILYA, the album features songs co-written and co-produced by Elvira Anderfjärd, Luka Kloser, Oscar Gorres, Ryan Tedder, Rodney Jerkins, Julia Michaels, and Michael Pollack. The album also features previously released songs, such as “Out of Body” and “In Plain Sight,” which have been praised by Rolling Stone and Billboard.
Speaking on the album, Khalid shares, “This is what freedom sounds like. It’s me, completely vulnerable, honest, healing, and unafraid. I’m proud of who I am, and the love I have to give, and I think there’s power in that. I hope that my music will help uplift others & be a soundtrack for their journeys.”
