Philippine Airlines (PAL) has introduced New Distribution Capability (NDC) integration on Trip.com, allowing customers from Asia, Australia, and the US to access the same fares and reservation services on the PAL website through Travelfusion. The integration will enable Trip.com to offer a broader range of fares, including lower and student fares, and personalized ancillary products like seat selection and prepaid baggage options. Additionally, customers can access post-booking services like itinerary changes and refunds, enhancing their booking convenience when purchasing PAL tickets via Trip.com.
Through the partnership, Trip.com enables PAL to deepen engagement with international students travelling between Asia, North America, and Oceania via its platform’s innovative segmentation tools. This allows exclusive, personalised student offers and bundling opportunities of ancillary products, tailored for value-seeking customers like students, first-time travellers, and diaspora communities. Using NDC technology, PAL can offer demand-based localised fare bundles across markets, enhancing the customer experience.
Competitive Fares and Enhanced Convenience for Trip.com Customers. In the future, customers can look forward to more exclusive NDC deals and options available on the Trip.com platform.
