Baygon® and OFF!®, pest-control brands under SC Johnson, have launched Mission: TAPOSible, a nationwide campaign in the Philippines to encourage Filipino families to make dengue prevention part of their daily routine. The campaign, launched at Market! Market! in Taguig City features local personalities Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, Melai Cantiveros, and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo as brand ambassadors. The aim is to inspire a shift towards proactive, year-round protection, allowing families to focus on spending uninterrupted time together.

According to the latest statistics from the Department of Health (DOH), the Philippines has recorded over 123,000 dengue cases from 1st January to 7th June this year, with children aged 5 to 9 and residents living in urban communities among the most affected.

With the rainy season in full swing and the risk of mosquito breeding grounds increasing, the need for consistent dengue prevention becomes even more urgent.

That’s where Mission: TAPOSible comes in, a holistic campaign led by Baygon® and OFF!® to help raise awareness, educate, and empower Filipinos to take action against dengue. Anchored on a community pledge, Baygon® and OFF!® call on families to commit to simple, daily prevention habits while gaining valuable knowledge to help protect themselves and their communities.

0814.16 Mission: TAPOSible Rallies Filipinos Against Dengue

Bringing the campaign to life, Baygon® and OFF!® are launching a multi-faceted, experiential event to drive education and engagement. The event amplifies the campaign’s call to action and features a variety of on-ground activities:

  • The premiere of a dengue documentary: Highlighting the real-life impact of dengue through different points of view, including a survivor’s experience, insights from entomologists, and ongoing local prevention efforts. Head to https://missiontaposible.com/ to watch the documentary, learn more about dengue, and how simple actions can help create positive change.
  • The OFF!® Jingle Dance: Turning the brand’s catchy jingle into a fun activity for visitors to enjoy together. Dancers lead simple steps, inviting visitors to join in, learn the moves, and dance along. It’s a fun moment and a rewarding experience, with exciting prizes awaiting participants.
  • Celebrity Meet-And-Greet Sessions, Interactive Games, and Booth Activities: The event features activities incorporating aspects of the Department of Health’s 5S strategy, helping visitors learn about key dengue prevention steps while enjoying games and interactive experiences. The public can also explore mosquito and dengue facts through event info panels and educational displays.

By making dengue protection a shared commitment, Mission: TAPOSible helps empower every family to take control and safeguard what they value the most. Through simple habits such as applying mosquito repellent before going out, using aerosol sprays or coils to protect indoor spaces, or regularly cleaning potential mosquito breeding areas around the home, families can help make a big difference in safeguarding their loved ones.

Filipinos are encouraged to participate in Mission: TAPOSible by making a personal pledge at https://missiontaposible.com/. To join, enter your name, email address, and province, then click the pledge button to show your commitment to taking daily steps to prevent dengue.

Upon pledging, participants will see their names displayed on the campaign’s virtual pledge wall alongside a growing community committed to dengue protection. They will also receive a special discount code for Baygon® & OFF!® products to help them protect their loved ones and homes from dengue anytime, anywhere.

By committing to small, daily actions, Filipinos can play a role in helping protect themselves, their families, and their communities from dengue so they can focus on what truly matters: enjoying life’s meaningful moments, uninterrupted.
