Hilton’s DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its 700th hotel and expanded into 60 countries and territories. The brand has welcomed over 40 new properties, marking significant firsts in Nice, Laos, the Azores Islands region, and Malta. This marks a tenfold increase in global presence since 2008, when the brand first expanded beyond the Americas into international markets. DoubleTree has a pipeline of over 240 hotels in development and nine upcoming first-in-country and territory debuts in diverse markets. The brand is expected to open its second resort property in Egypt, DoubleTree by Hilton Mangroovy El Gouna Resort, in Northern Ireland, and DoubleTree by Hilton Casablanca City Centre in North Africa.

DoubleTree by Hilton also drives Hilton’s momentum in creating opportunities for hotel owners to join Hilton’s system by converting existing properties into the DoubleTree portfolio.
