As part of its ongoing sustainability efforts, 7-Eleven is joining Earth Hour once again, demonstrating its commitment to environmental responsibility and community impact.

During Earth Hour, over 4,000 7-Eleven stores nationwide will turn off non-essential lights and dim their iconic signs from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, joining millions worldwide in raising awareness for climate action and encouraging people to “give an hour for the Earth.”

The brand’s participation reflects its broader sustainability initiatives, which go beyond the annual event. Through its Good Coffee, Good Habits campaign, customers are encouraged to use reusable cups and can enjoy up to a ₱5 discount on City Cafe and City Prima beverages. In Mindanao, 7-Eleven supports the City Cafe Farm to Cup initiative, helping sustain indigenous farmers from the MILALITTRA Farmers Agriculture Cooperative (MILFACO) in Bukidnon.

To further reduce environmental impact, the brand promotes Bring Your Own Bag Wednesdays, encouraging customers to cut down on single-use plastics. It has also introduced a solar-powered store in Pampanga, marking progress in reducing carbon emissions across its operations.

7-Eleven emphasizes that convenience and sustainability can go hand in hand, encouraging small but meaningful everyday actions.
