The 17th Philippine SME Business Expo and Conference (PHILSME) – Entrepreneur and Franchise Edition, held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, welcomed 10,000 visitors over two days of learning, inspiration, and networking for entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

“Entrepreneurs came looking for ideas that fit them. SMEs came looking for solutions they could act on,” said PHILSME CEO and Managing Director Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla. “The intention and energy across this edition were truly inspiring.” DTI Assistant Secretary Grace Baluyan highlighted the role of MSMEs in communities, noting that they create jobs and support local economies.

Corporate leaders also contributed valuable perspectives, such as Norman Cloyd B. Sebastian, VP of Sales Distribution, Toyota Motor Philippines, who discussed mobility and innovation in entrepreneurship, and Joseph Jerome Francia, First VP and Head of Operations, GMA International, who led a GMA Pinoy TV panel on the OFW-to-entrepreneur journey.
