Fourteen Filipino designers and creative brands are set to bring local craftsmanship and contemporary design to the global stage as they join the second edition of FASHIONPhilippines in Milan, an initiative aimed at positioning the Philippines as a strategic hub for fashion innovation and talent.
The program is spearheaded by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI), the Philippine Consulate General in Milan, the Philippine Fashion Coalition (PFC), LIT Consultancy, and Fondazione Sozzani.
Through a structured business development and mentorship program led by Filipino and international fashion experts, the participating designers will refine their collections and prepare for a showcase in Milan scheduled for September 2026, in time for Milan Fashion Week.
The cohort represents a diverse mix of returning designers and new participants, each bringing distinct perspectives shaped by heritage, sustainability, craftsmanship, and modern design sensibilities.
