Shangri-La Plaza is launching Stories & Strength – RFLXN: The Many Faces of a Woman exhibition, partnering with Niccolo Cosme. The exhibition, running until March 30, features photographs and videos that explore the evolving roles of women in society, the strength of vulnerability, and shared experiences. The exhibition uses fractured mirrors to symbolize the multifaceted nature of womanhood, reflecting identity, resilience, and self-discovery. The mirror installation by Myke Oropesa Mayores serves as a sculptural centerpiece.
As an avid supporter in championing the exhibit’s advocacy, Shang has tapped its very own tenant partners to join the campaign and inspire aspiring female entrepreneurs. This includes BELO’s Cristalle Belo, BRILYO’s Betina Lagman, Cabbase’s Rollin Cheng, Duck & Buvette’s Kathleen Chua, Barbara Lising of I Do Nails, Kurimu’s Maxine Kong, Mia Urquico-Malixi of Mico Boutique, Panaderro’s Kat Erro, Yvette Ilagan of Studio 546, Wobbly Pan’s Trina Hernandez, Brendalyn Ramirez Abengoza of 70’s Kimchi, and Galerie Stephanie’s Rences Abigael Teotico.
The exhibit is part of the RFLXN headshot campaign by Project Headshot Clinic where Cosme serves as creative director and was put together through the partnership between Strokes Cosmetics, Nudefloor, Pinay Girl Boss, She Talks Asia, and Shangri-La Plaza.
This initiative brings together art, movement, storytelling, and advocacy to amplify the voices of women and inspire meaningful conversations about inclusivity and empowerment.
