Maya, the top digital bank and payments processor in the Philippines, is partnering with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to digitize donations through the Kaagapay Donations Portal and Harmonized Electronic Licensing and Permit System (HELPS). Maya’s digital payment solutions will be integrated into the HELPS portal, ensuring secure and seamless online payments for registration, accreditation, and donations. Foundations and SWDAs registered with DSWD will be automatically listed in the Kaagapay Donations Portal.

“Digitizing donations is a crucial step in making charitable giving more efficient and transparent. DSWD’s initiative helps ensure that support reaches organizations faster and with greater accountability. We’re glad to contribute to this shift toward a modern, accessible donation system,” said Kristoffer Eduard Rada, Maya’s Head of Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs.

This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to modernize financial transactions, streamlining processes and improving ease of doing business. Maya has long supported digitization in government, working with agencies to expand digital disbursement programs and integrate cashless solutions into public services.

Through this partnership, Maya strengthens its commitment to making financial transactions easier and more accessible—whether for businesses, individuals or causes that matter.
