Singer and R&B artist Jarren Garcia bares his heart with the release of his seven-track debut extended play (EP), “LUVBOMB,” alongside the official music video for its key track, “Runaway” (Taglish Version).

Blending smooth international R&B soundscapes with authentic OPM storytelling, the project marks a deeply personal milestone for the young artist.

“It’s about pouring all your love and effort into that one person. I’ve poured my heart and soul into making this EP. I can confidently say this music is more me — it’s more Jarren,” Garcia shared.

Bridging International R&B and Local Roots

The headline track, “Runaway,” has been released in two distinct versions:

  • Taglish Version: Paired with an official cinematic music video on ABS-CBN Star Music’s YouTube channel.

  • English Version: Accompanied by a dedicated lyric visualizer on YouTube.

Garcia intentionally leaned into Tagalog-dominant lyrics across the project to maintain an intimate connection with local listeners while retaining a global R&B feel.

“I also want to connect with the Filipino listeners, which is why most of the songs are mainly Tagalog. We chose ‘Runaway’ as the key song because it has that international sound, and making it Tagalog helps stick to the OPM side of it,” he explained.

Celebrating their 2nd anniversary, Jarren’s dedicated fan club organized a special community gesture to support the release. The fan club launched a free ride initiative across Metro Manila, deploying four modern jeepneys playing tracks from LUVBOMB for commuters throughout the day.
