Hashtag Travelog returns with season 2 – HASHTAG TRAVELOG in TAOYUAN – airing in 8 countries, premiering in Korea on May 28th on TVN Show and TVING. The program, hosted by K-pop boy group CIX, will be broadcast on tvN Asia across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines on June 1st. The show offers immersive, entertaining, and social media-worthy explorations of Taiwan’s hidden gem, Taoyuan.
Leveraging their prior travel experience, the CIX members take on the role of Travel Mates and YouTuber-style hosts, showcasing the charm of Taoyuan through a Millennial and Gen Z lens. The group, consisting of Hyunsuk, Yonghee, Seunghun, and BX, recently made waves with the release of their 7th mini album, ‘THUNDER FEVER’, and now channel their dynamic energy into travel storytelling.
One of Hashtag Travelog’s standout features is its social-first approach — each city is explored through popular hashtags, leading the cast to local landmarks, cultural activities, and hidden culinary gems. CIX even creates witty, Gen Z-inspired hashtags and shares them via the show and its personal Instagram accounts, connecting directly with fans.
In Taoyuan, their adventure includes:
- A time-travel-like stroll through Daxi Old Street, where they dive into a 10-snack challenge, tasting delicacies like traditional marinated tofu, tofu pudding, and the 85-year-old cream cheese ball.
