Chinabank has introduced the Ultra Rewards Program, offering a new banking experience that rewards account holders for both spending and saving wisely. The program is designed to make both financial choices more rewarding. By opening a new Ultra Rewards Peso Checking or Savings Account (CASA), clients can enjoy competitive interest rates and real-life perks, turning their financial habits into perks. This premium account also opens the door to the exclusive Ultra Rewards Credit Card, where savings and spending work together to earn rewards that fit your lifestyle. The program aims to make both financial choices more rewarding for Chinabank clients.
With a minimum average daily balance (ADB) of Php1,000,000, every Php100 saved within your CASA provides one (1) reward point credited to your Ultra Rewards Credit Card. Accumulate 10,000 reward points and you can redeem rewards in either air miles, e-vouchers, rebates, or Annual Membership Fee waiver in redemption increments of Php2,500—turning your disciplined saving into well-deserved experiences.
Spending with the Ultra Rewards Credit Card is just as rewarding, with every Php50 you spend earning you one (1) reward point. A monthly spend of Php500,000 will provide an additional 10,000 rewards points, doubling your equivalent reward. Whether you’re booking a trip, treating yourself, or investing in your passions, you’re constantly gaining more from your financial flow—save or spend, you get ULTRA rewarded!
“At Chinabank, we believe that financial wellness is built on everyday decisions—how we save, how we spend, and how we plan for the future. We want to give Filipinos a smarter, more rewarding way to manage their money,” shares Niña Q. Reynoso, Head of Cards Marketing. She adds, “Whether you’re building your savings or enjoying the rewards of your spending, this program ensures that every peso works harder for you. It’s about creating a banking experience for our clients to enjoy the lifestyle they deserve while staying financially responsible.”
Chinabank’s Ultra Rewards Program is designed to help you make your money work harder while rewarding you every step of the way. Applicable to individual clients aged 18 and above, the program offers a premium savings experience that goes beyond traditional banking.
Current Chinabank deposit account holders will need to open a new Ultra Rewards Deposit account and fund it with fresh deposits to start enjoying rewards. Fresh funds qualify as the following: cash deposits, incoming fund transfers, and checks drawn from a non-Chinabank account. It’s important to note that deposits from another Chinabank account holder and deposits or funds from proceeds of Chinabank investment products will still qualify for rewards under this program.
The ADB minimum requirement of Php1,000,000 likewise means that deposits below this amount will not earn rewards, but are still eligible to earn interest similar to standard Chinabank savings or checking accounts. Meanwhile, only the Ultra Rewards Credit Card holders will be able to earn and redeem rewards, and the application is subject to the bank’s credit evaluation process. For joint accounts, only the main account holder will be required to apply for the Ultra Rewards Credit card in order to avail and redeem rewards.
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is no stranger to self-empowerment. Whether it’s through acceptance of one’s shortcomings and turning this into confidence, Dee knows that the road to self-empowerment is not determined by just one thing. Understanding this need for Filipino financial empowerment, Dee expresses her excitement about the Chinabank Ultra Rewards Program, saying: “True empowerment means having the freedom to choose where your journey takes you—whether that’s saving for your future or treating yourself to the rewards you deserve.” Michelle adds, “It starts with making smart, independent choices—and that includes how we manage our finances. With Chinabank’s Ultra Rewards Program, every decision becomes a step toward something greater. It doesn’t just reward spending, it gives Filipinos more value for every peso saved and spent, transforming everyday banking into opportunities for growth, travel, and self-investment. It aligns perfectly with the empowered, goal-driven lifestyle we champion today.”
Entrepreneur, TV Presenter, and basketball coach Charles Tiu echoes this sentiment, highlighting how Chinabank’s latest program allows Filipino youth to responsibly benefit while exploring the ins and outs of saving and spending. As a teacher of sport and life himself, he says, “As a coach, entrepreneur, and mentor, I always tell the next generation—it’s not just about making the play, it’s about making the smart play.” For Tiu, one should have a system that not only supports your goals but also rewards you for making financially responsible choices. “Financial discipline is just like training—you show up, stay consistent, and make the right calls. Chinabank’s Ultra Rewards Program encourages Filipinos to do just that by building better habits and rewarding them for smart financial moves.”
Artist Demi Padua, who turned his humble passion into highly sought-after artwork, knows the importance of mastering the basics. With Chinabank’s Ultra Rewards Program incentivizing account holders’ spending and saving, Padua says: “Being an artist is one of the hardest professions–there will be times when you won’t make a sale. You need a backup so you can afford your expenses for your art, because how can you make art without materials?” Demi believes that apart from savings, having financial assistance helps ease the burden. “I manage my finances and set aside savings specifically for my future shows. When I’m overseas for an exhibition, having access to my Ultra Rewards Program debit and credit card makes it easy for me if I need to purchase materials for my art, accommodations, or flights, and I get something in return. It’s like my art, I work for it and I’m rewarded after.”
Likewise, excited to explore the possibilities of Chinabank’s Ultra Rewards Program, actor-attorney Oliver Moeller, chimes in: “I am a very firm believer of delayed gratification, whether it’s in my legal career or in my fitness life. So, I do believe that putting money in the bank slowly, consistently, will reward you, whether it’s in fitness, whether it’s in your career, whether it’s with relationships, it doesn’t matter. And that’s exactly what China Bank’s Ultra Rewards Program provides to a lot of its members.” He adds, ”No matter what stage you are in your career or in your life, I am a firm believer that everyone should be able to control their finances, not just for themselves, maybe for their families and for their futures as well.”
Chinabank’s Ultra Rewards Program is more than just banking; it’s building the life you envision on your own terms while focusing on new growth, both for your account and your lifestyle. Start earning more through saving and spending with your Ultra Rewards Peso Checking/Savings (CASA) account and Ultra Rewards Credit Card!
