Ayala Malls in Manila, Philippines, has launched Picklemall Season 3, a fusion of fitness, community, and lifestyle that redefines how Filipinos engage with sport and recreation in urban settings. The tournament, held at One Ayala, began with remarks from Mae Dichupa, Ayala Malls’ Head of Marketing, and a ceremonial dink, showcasing friendly competition and community spirit.

“Picklemall is more than just a tournament—a vibrant celebration of movement, community, and the active lifestyle we champion at Ayala Malls. As we kick off our third season, we’re proud to be at the forefront of this growing sport and excited to share the joy of pickleball with even more people across our malls,” said Dichupa. 

This year’s tournament marks a significant milestone for the Picklemall campaign. Over 400 teams and 800 players compete across 9 Ayala Malls nationwide, namely One Ayala, Ayala Malls TriNoma, Ayala Malls Vertis North, and Ayala Malls Market! Market!, Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces in Metro Manila, Ayala Malls MarQuee Mall in Pampanga, Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod, Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao, and Ayala Malls Centrio in Cagayan De Oro. 

This season’s tournament finals are slated to be held in Ayala Malls Vermosa.

To date, 95 pickleball clubs across four competitive categories are confirmed to participate in Season 3, reflecting a significant and still-growing increase from the previous seasons.

Since launching the country’s first-ever mall-based pickleball court at Market! In 2023, Ayala Malls played a pivotal role in growing the sport locally. What started as a novel fitness initiative has evolved into a full-fledged nationwide campaign with dedicated courts, organized leagues, and a passionate player base.  

Dichupa further noted that with its third season underway, Picklemall has made inroads in transforming malls from mere shopping centers into dynamic social and sporting hubs.  

Brands such as Facolos, Amare Global, K-Swiss, Katinko, Del Monte Fit & Right, and Columbia Technologies Inc. have also come on board as sponsors, enhancing the player and spectator experience throughout the season.
