Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) Philippines is preparing for its annual Future Menus report, which will reveal food trends, industry insights, and consumer sentiments. The report, based on extensive research and dialogue with the food industry, aims to answer the question, “Are You Prepped?” The report, which includes 312 million online searches, 1,100 chef interviews, and hundreds of hours of research, aims to translate key findings into solutions for industry pain points. The company’s commitment to preparing ingredients for delicious dishes is evident in its approach to the culinary world.
Now in its third edition this year, the global food trend report has been a constant ally to food industry professionals.
As the brand gears up for another exciting edition of Future Menus, UFS Executive Chef Kenneth Cacho shared an overview of the work that goes into putting together the trend report, highlighting its growing importance among industry professionals.
“From a network of 250-strong UFS chefs around the world, new ideas come up across different markets and different countries. In the process, we get to learn more about the needs of operators, and we get to use our experience in teaching them how to improve and professionalize their processes. There are so many trends, but what makes Future Menus different is how it refines these emerging trends, making them more detailed so it’s easier to apply for us chefs and business operators,” he explains.
