At 15 years old, he proves that the road from local circuits to the global stage is achievable with focus and discipline. Daquigan is not just riding for himself, but also carries the hopes of every Filipino who has ever imagined donning a racing suit, leaning into corners at full speed, and hearing their name cheered from the stands.
He showcases his skills through smooth cornering, intelligent overtakes, and the composure of a seasoned professional, despite going head-to-head with Asia and Europe’s 55 junior competitors. In his debut performance, Daquigan qualified for the grid in 19th position. He finished 20th in Race 1, followed it up with a solid improvement to 11th place in Race 2, and finished in 17th place overall for the first time.
