PUMA Philippines joined runners from across Southeast Asia as the global sports brand officially introduced the Deviate Pure NITRO™ during the “Run the Rave” event held at the NIC Factory in Bangkok on July 22, 2026.

The regional launch gathered elite athletes, running clubs, and fitness personalities from the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia for an exclusive first look at PUMA’s newest high-performance daily running shoe.

Opening the event, Sanjay Roy, Managing Director of PUMA SEA & Oceania, shared the brand’s vision for the region before participants took part in a guided warm-up ahead of the evening run.

Representing the Philippines were Dominic Roque, Ashley Rivera, Jeff Ong, and Rhea Bue, alongside members of local running communities, including Miguel Aldeguer, Thomas Santos, and Eric Isip of EZ Run Club, as well as representatives from Chinito Walkers.

The Filipino delegation joined fellow runners for a lively three-kilometer night run through the streets of Bangkok, putting the Deviate Pure NITRO™ to the test in a fun and community-driven setting that highlighted the growing running culture across Southeast Asia.

Beyond showcasing the shoe’s performance, the event celebrated the spirit of collective running, proving that chasing personal goals becomes even more rewarding when shared with a supportive community.
