Malaysia’s RC Coaching and Elevate Performance are set to host a triathlon clinic in Desaru Coast, Malaysia, to prepare for IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast in May. The three-day “Desaru Torture Camp” will include a triathlon simulation, long runs on the 70.3 Desaru Coast course, an open-water swim, and a 90km bike ride. Participants will also learn proper recovery techniques, including foam rolling and stretching sessions. The event will conclude with a group celebration dinner, fostering camaraderie and mutual encouragement among participants.

RC Coaching (Malaysia) and Elevate Performance (Singapore) coaches will also offer valuable insights into various racing strategies. RC Coaching and Elevate Performance are recognized for producing world-class triathletes who have secured podium finishes at past IRONMAN Desaru Coast competitions.

Prices start from RM1,110 for the training pass only. Stay packages include a 3D2N stay at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast with daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner at RM2,840 for single athletes and RM4,440 for two participants. IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast is the marquee event at the Desaru Coast Multi Sports Festival happening on 17 to 19 May 2024. The race stands as one of the most renowned triathlon events in Asia. The race entails a 1.9km swim course in front of The Westin Desaru Coast Resort beachfront, followed by a 90km bike course through lush greenery providing both shade and picturesque views. The race concludes with a 21km run course around the perimeter of The Els Club Desaru Course, featuring multiple hills to provide for a challenging race.
