GCash, the top finance app in the Philippines, honored the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos with GCash credits for their exceptional service, passion, and community impact. The Metrobank Foundation held a lunch at GT Tower International in Makati City to honor the awardees, attended by presidents, directors, and department heads of Metrobank Foundation and other subsidiaries and affiliates. The app’s advocacy for nation-building through financial technology is a key focus.

GCash president and chief executive officer Martha Sazon was also part of the esteemed final board of judges, which was chaired by Sen. Francis Joseph G. Escudero and co-chaired by the Supreme Court of the Philippines associate justice Henri Jean Paul B. Inting.
