This marks the first-ever partnership between the K-Pop band and a French luxury house. The four members of the girls’ band — Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing, as well as their respective avatars — will present key pieces and looks from collections by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams for Givenchy.

Aespa takes its name from Æ, the first letters in ‘Avatar’ and ‘Experience,’ and the word ‘aspect,’ an anagram that expresses the duality of “meeting another self and experiencing a new world via avatars.” The group made its debut on November 2020 with the release of the single “Black Mamba.” A powerful, dynamic performance style won the group instant success, catapulting it to the top of next-gen Korean Wave celebrity.
