Ayala Malls The 30th, the homey, neighborhood lifestyle mall in Pasig, brought more fun, cheer and energy to the community by kicking off the Christmas season with I Got Stung, a musical performance by the Steps Dance Project.

The mesmerizing contemporary ballet was inspired by the unforgettable music of Sting and was choreographed by the famous James Laforteza. From Sting’s seductive hit, “Roxanne”, to the nostalgic melodies and rock anthems of “Shape of My Heart” and “It’s Probably Me”, the audience was enthralled, snapping their fingers and bobbing their heads to the beat. Later in the show, special guest performer Gian Magdangal delighted the guests further with his smooth, powerful vocals.

“That’s what I really appreciate about Ayala Malls The 30th, they always present new, different experiences at the mall,” shares Mika Lagdameo-Martinez, style icon, influencer and blogger. “Usually, Christmas at the mall is all about bazaars and Christmas carols. We don’t get to see too many dances, more so ballet, so I was completely blown away by tonight’s performance. I can’t wait to bring my husband and children next time,” she beams.

A ballet dancer in her youth, Happy Skin’s Rissa Mananquil-Trillo shares the same excitement for Ayala Malls The 30th’s Christmas season line up. “It’s become a family tradition for us to travel during the Christmas season, because it’s a chance for us to bond, be together and discover new experiences. Like at Ayala Malls The 30th, you’re always left pleasantly surprised.” In addition to being just a few minutes away from their home, Rissa appreciates that Ayala Malls The 30th has everything a community needs.

Mariana Zobel de Ayala, the general manager of the mall, explains, “Ayala Malls The 30th was specifically designed to be more intimate and homey, as it is a neighborhood/ community mall. But while it is smaller in size, we didn’t compromise on the range and mix of retail, dining, and lifestyle entertainment.”

At Ayala Malls The 30th, delight in having everything within reach, from supermarkets, cinemas, book stores, restaurants, and a wide range of world-class boutiques and global brands. “Through this mall, we’re trying to redefine what the mall culture is and expand the experiences you can enjoy here. From concerts to dance performances, art exhibits and even food bazaars that highlight local produce, Ayala Malls The 30th aspires to be more than just a destination for shopping and dining, we want to offer you and your family and friends more reasons to bond and gather,” adds Zobel de Ayala.

Renowned host and blogger, Jenni Epperson, agrees with Mariana. “My family has a diverse set of interests – my husband is a gadget and tech guy, my kids are into toys and games, while I, of course, love shopping in general. So I love that Ayala Malls The 30th has variety and a good range of merchants, from the luxury/ high-end to the more affordable brands. They definitely make Christmas shopping easier!” she says.

This Christmas, Ayala Malls The 30th goes all out to bring to life Christmas cheer and merry. For its first Christmas, Ayala Malls The 30th embraces a community-inspired theme, and proudly unveils its 15ft Christmas Tree, located at the center of the mall. Imbibing the Yuletide spirit, the Christmas tree is decorated with hundreds of traditional poinsettia flowers, aptly creating that feel of romantic nostalgia and an ambience of home. Ayala Malls The 30th is Intimate at best, with every corner of the mall striving to give its customers a sense of homey comfort.

This Christmas season, and in the months to come, let Ayala Malls The 30th surprise you with its exciting offerings.
